I Want to Ride My Bicycle...
This week I'm playing along with the Less is More "No Stamps" challenge and the Addicted to CAS "Wheels" challenge. For this card I used Altenew's grid stencil with Distress Oxide inks for the background. I cut the "road" using Lawn Fawn's Stitched Hillside border dies on charcoal cardstock. The sentiment is from Spellbinders; I glued two cuts together to have the letters stand out. The bicycle is a generic die; I colored the balloons with Spectrum Noir alcohol markers. It took some discipline not to grab a stamp for this one, but it was a fun challenge!
Ooooh, I love this! What a great design with the stencilling giving an offset feel to the layout and the strong die cut lines looking fab on top! Great colour combo too. Thanks so much for playing along with us at Less is More :)

DeleteI imagine it was difficult to make a card without stamping but you did a fabulous job on yours, Kathy. Thanks for sharing your card with us at Addicted to CAS.

ReplyDeleteThanks, Viv! No, not an easy challenge, but it's always a challenge for me to say, "Stop, it's done!"
